The dispersal sale was a success despite the bad weather and the difficulties induced by bluetongue regulations.
More than 300 people attended the sale, coming from all parts of France and Europe (England, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxemburg and Wales).
The 93 lots were sold.
Lot 53 (cow with calf at foot) was sold 8100€ to Mr Bros in Corrèze. Lot 52 was bought for 5500€ by the Lagrafeuil family who purchased 10 lots in total. M. Menzo from Sicily also purchased 10 animals. Lot 36 was sold to the Spanish company Vituron for 7100€. They bought 10 animals in total too. Lot 49 was purchased by the Blenkhorn brothers for 6500€. Hercule was purchased by a group of breeders from Normandy for 8700€.
The proceeds of the sale amount to over 300 000€.
